Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. in Monroe, GA is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Operations Manager to supervise and optimize our diesel truck, trailer, and refrigeration repair operations.

You will lead shop teams, ensure quality, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced service environment. The role requires 3+ years in fleet or trailer maintenance leadership, strong technical knowledge, and a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or supervisory role in a large fleet, diesel, or trailer repair shop (3+ years preferred).
• Experience conducting employee reviews.
• Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, trailer systems, and transport refrigeration units.
• Experience with DOT & OSHA compliance, and repair procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop shop teams across multiple shifts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and communication.
• Oversee technician training and performance reviews.
• Manage shop scheduling, workloads, and project coordination.
• Maintain safety programs and conduct inspections.
• Support hands-on shop work during peak times.
• Track department performance and drive efficiency improvements.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and customers.
• Promote a positive, high-performance team culture.
