Job summary

Chaney Enterprises in the United States is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our fleet and equipment running at peak performance, diagnosing and repairing trucks, heavy equipment, hydraulics, air compressors, and welding gear. You will supervise a Mechanic's Helper, perform inspections, complete maintenance documentation, and respond to road calls while maintaining a safe, organized shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles and stationary equipment.
• Ability to supervise a Mechanic's Helper.
• Commitment to safety and thorough maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and stationary equipment to company standards.
• Coordinate repairs with the Manager and team.
• Supervise and guide a Mechanic's Helper.
• Conduct inspections and complete maintenance documentation accurately.
• Respond to road calls and on-site equipment breakdowns as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations and report concerns promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
