Job summary

Chaney Enterprises in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Full Time Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of fleet and stationary equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs with the Manager while supervising a Mechanic's Helper.

Responsibilities include on-site inspections, maintaining accurate maintenance records, responding to road calls, and ensuring a safe shop environment in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles and stationary equipment.
• Ability to supervise a helper on shift.
• Maintain maintenance records accurately and promptly.
• Respond to road calls and on-site breakdowns as needed.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations at all times.
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and stationary equipment to company standards.
• Proactively identify issues and coordinate repairs with the Manager and team.
• Supervise and guide a Mechanic's Helper.
• Conduct required inspections and complete all maintenance documentation accurately.
• Respond to road calls and on-site equipment breakdowns as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
