Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR in Warren, OH is seeking a Lead Fire & Contents Restoration Technician to join our elite team. You will lead restoration projects, performing fire and smoke damage restoration, contents cleaning, and debris removal on residential and commercial properties.

You’ll work with homeowners, adjusters, and project leads, documenting progress with restoration software and adhering to safety protocols. A $10,000 sign-on bonus awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Some hands-on experience in fire or smoke damage restoration (residential or commercial).
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
• Solid customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined or challenging spaces, and wear PPE when required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn or use mobile devices and job-tracking software.
• IICRC FSRT & OCT certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of fire and smoke damage restoration, including demolition, structural cleaning, contents cleaning, equipment setup, pack-outs, and debris removal
• Safely pack, move, clean, and restore fire-damaged personal belongings and commercial contents
• Operate a variety of restoration tools and equipment, ensuring proper use and care
• Accurately document job progress, inventory, and customer interactions using restoration software (e.g., Contents Track, iCAT, Restore 365)
• Work directly with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and project leads to ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery
• Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and professional worksite, and keep company vehicles and equipment ready and organized
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed
