Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Connecticut F1/F2 fire sprinkler license.
• 1-3 years' service work experience in Sprinkler, fire pump, and Backflow systems service.
• Fire and /or Life Safety Systems experience.
• Must have or be able & willing to attain state Connecticut Backflow certification.
• Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Capable of passing a pre-employment background, MVR and drug test.
• Customer oriented interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use phone/Ipad for software applications used daily. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to exercise effective time management skills.
• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to perform NFPA 25 inspection and testing services. Must be able to use general hand tools and power safely and effectively toolsMust be capable of using various Arial lifts and boom trucks. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Must be able, on a regular basis, work comfortably at a height of greater than 26 feet.

• Identify NFPA compliance issues and remediation recommendations.
• Work with field and office staff to provide high-quality customer service and top-notch work.
• Perform visual inspection of systems and alert alarm and central monitoring services as needed.
• Complete job paperwork electronically and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Prepare detailed labor, material, and equipment lists for repairs and maintenance.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and safety protocols.
• Complete all Impact Fire safety testing requirements.
