Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking a Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician in Rockville, MD to service commercial fire sprinkler systems across the Maryland region. The role demands hands-on sprinkler work, NFPA code knowledge, and field troubleshooting with strong earning potential.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, typical hours 5:00 AM–6:00 PM, on‑call rotation. $30–$50/hour with overtime, plus a robust benefits package and room for NICET certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire sprinkler inspection and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 points or fewer).
• Minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Ability to work from ladders and aerial lifts.
• Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs and working in confined spaces.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• NICET certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, service, and repairs on fire sprinkler systems
• Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot system issues
• Identify code deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• Interpret and apply NFPA 25 standards during inspections
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations with customers
• Participate in an on‑call rotation
• Perform fire pump flow testing (preferred)
