Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Sprinkler Install Superintendent to oversee multiple projects, large crews, and complex fire sprinkler installations. The role combines technical expertise with strong leadership, ensuring safety and compliance on active job sites.

You will coordinate scheduling, review installation reports, mentor technicians, and liaise with customers and internal teams. Travel to job sites as required; NICET II+ or CAL FIRE license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 9+ years in fire and life safety as technician or higher.
• 5+ years in a supervisory role.
• NICET Level II+ preferred.
• CAL FIRE Sprinkler Fitter License preferred.
• Solid knowledge of NFPA codes and sprinkler installations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple sprinkler installation projects and crews.
• Coordinate complex jobs for timely, efficient execution.
• Supervise and mentor technicians, leads and apprentices.
• Perform installation using hand tools and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation specs.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Manage job site logistics, scheduling, and resources.
• Review installation reports for accuracy.
• Communicate with customers, leadership, and teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work site.
• Travel to job sites as required.
