Job summary

Cogent Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field installation crews on commercial, industrial, and residential projects. You will ensure code‑compliant installations, supervise daily production, and maintain safety on‑site.

The ideal candidate has NFPA knowledge, reads plans, and can coordinate materials, tools, and inspectors while communicating with project managers and general contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience; foreman or lead installer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, fire codes, and proper installation practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, layout systems, and plan work efficiently.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and maintain productivity.
• Experience with steel, CPVC, and other fire sprinkler piping systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• NICET certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead fire sprinkler installation crews on commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and NFPA codes.
• Plan daily work, set production goals, and maintain job pacing.
• Ensure proper installation of piping, hangers, heads, valves, and related components.
• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, inspections, and subcontractors.
• Maintain strict safety standards and enforce company and OSHA requirements.
• Communicate progress, issues, and needs with project managers and inspectors.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and ensure high‑quality workmanship.
• Complete daily reports, track production, and maintain accurate documentation
