Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Charleston, South Carolina seeks a Foreman to lead installation teams for fire sprinkler systems and related life safety solutions. You will read plans, supervise daily site activities, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in installing fire sprinkler systems, pipefitting, or related codes.
• Ability to read plans, documents, and discern colors for safety signage.
• Reliable transportation and valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily site inspections for handling, storage, installation, and testing of materials and performance at the site.
• Follows designed plans and communicates needed design changes to fit site requirements.
• Responsible for materials delivered to site and minor fabrication on site, and documents change orders.
• Leads an installation team and may oversee large jobs with multiple crews on location; conducts weekly safety meetings.
