Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an experienced sprinkler installation technician in Texas to join our industry-leading team. You will install fire sprinkler systems, interpret blueprints, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards on active job sites.

With 5+ years in fire and life safety, strong installation knowledge, and NICET II or higher preferred, you will mentor apprentices and support project teams. We offer excellent pay, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and career development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fire and life safety as a technician.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler installation practices and codes.
• NICET Level II or above preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler systems per drawings and specs.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs for installation projects.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Complete required documentation and installation reports accurately and timely.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Support and guide entry-level technicians and apprentices.
