Job summary

Sobieski Life Safety is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Foreman in Newark, DE. You will supervise field workers, enforce safety standards, and manage material and scheduling to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a Journeyman Fire Sprinkler license, OSHA 30 certification, and NICET levels. Competitive compensation with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive training are offered.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certified is required for site safety compliance.
• Journeyman Fire Sprinkler License or equivalent training is required.
• NICET Level 2 or 3 certification is preferred.
• Backflow Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate field activities of assigned craft workers; enforce safety and manage resources.
• Train new workers in equipment use.
• Conduct site safety orientation for employees/subcontractors.
• Interpret systems to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor schedules to ensure timely completion of work; adjust sequences as needed.
• Maintain weekly labor performance reports and productivity data.
• Maintain paperwork such as look-ahead schedules and timesheets.
• Keep jobsite secure and organized; ensure tools are in good working order.
• Prepare final take-off of material.
• Schedule shutdowns and tie-ins to existing systems.
• Build rapport with customers and team to influence scheduling and purchases.
• Analyze and resolve work problems; report progress and deviations to Project Manager.
• Ensure delivery of materials and equipment and track back orders.
