ServiceMaster CDR in Northwood, OH is seeking a Lead Fire & Contents Restoration Technician to join our elite team. You will perform fire and smoke damage restoration including demolition, contents cleaning, and documentation using restoration software.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fire/smoke restoration experience, residential or commercial.
• Comfort with documenting progress and inventory using restoration software.
• IICRC FSRT & OCT certification is a plus or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Perform all aspects of fire and smoke damage restoration, including demolition, structural cleaning, contents cleaning, equipment setup, pack-outs, and debris removal
• Safely pack, move, clean, and restore fire-damaged personal belongings and commercial contents
• Operate restoration tools and equipment, ensuring proper use and care
• Document job progress, inventory, and customer interactions using restoration software
• Collaborate with homeowners, managers, adjusters and leads for quality service
• Maintain a clean, safe worksite and organize company vehicles/equipment
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies

What You'll Do:

• Perform all aspects of fire and smoke damage restoration, including demolition, structural cleaning, contents cleaning, equipment setup, pack-outs, and debris removal
• Safely pack, move, clean, and restore fire-damaged personal belongings and commercial contents
• Operate a variety of restoration tools and equipment, ensuring proper use and care
• Accurately document job progress, inventory, and customer interactions using restoration software (e.g., Contents Track, iCAT, Restore 365)
• Work directly with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and project leads to ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery
• Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and professional worksite, and keep company vehicles and equipment ready and organized
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed

What You Bring:

• Some hands-on experience in fire or smoke damage restoration (residential or commercial)
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive, can-do attitude
• Solid customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined or challenging spaces, and wear PPE (including respirators) when required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Tech-savvy and able to learn or use mobile devices and job-tracking software
• IICRC FSRT & OCT certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain)
