Qualifications

• 5+ Years of experience in design/consulting/construction in fire protection
• Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering, engineering technology, or ABET-accredited program
• Registered Professional Engineer (FPE) license is required
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Directly manages the fire protection scope on projects and coordinates with other design staff on technical deliverables
• Engineer of record on assigned projects
• Oversees design and analysis using NFPA standards and UFC/IBC codes
• Aids in production of 3D fire protection designs using Revit
• Communicates effectively with internal and external team members
• Keeps projects organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
• Leads engineering calculations and analyses with available software
• Mentors junior engineers and staff as experience grows
