Job description

As a Lead Fire Alarm Technician- NICET here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, programming, and setting of fire alarm systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients by installing and maintaining state-of-the-art fire alarm systems.

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location.

In this role, you will impact our organization by providing expert technical support and ensuring the successful implementation of fire alarm systems. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall safety and satisfaction of our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, commission, program, and set fire alarm systems according to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and assist in their training and development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed, including system configurations, test results, and customer interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in fire alarm systems.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
