Lead Technician (FEL-A or FEL-K Licensed)

We are currently seeking a FEL-A or FEL-K Licensed Lead Fire Safety Technician to join and lead our team serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This is an outstanding opportunity for experienced professionals who are passionate about protecting lives and eager to guide a team within a company known for expertise, integrity, and service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of fire safety technicians to ensure quality service delivery across the DFW region
  • Mentor, train, and evaluate team members to uphold Fire Shield’s high standards
  • Assign daily tasks and manage technician schedules for optimal efficiency
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and other life safety equipment
  • Ensure team compliance with NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations
  • Lead system installations in commercial kitchens, food trucks, and other facilities
  • Review and ensure accuracy of service reports and documentation completed by the team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex fire safety system issues
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of tools, equipment, and supplies for the team
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service calls as a senior technician
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer concerns and technical issues

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Solid understanding of NFPA standards and fire safety codes
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage service schedules
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
