Job summary

Control Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Technician and System Programmer to install, program, and commission fire alarm and low voltage systems in medium to large commercial buildings. You will mentor teammates and deliver top-quality customer support and troubleshooting.

The role requires strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, codes, and problem-solving, with on-site work and occasional travel. CSI values reliability and diligent collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in fire alarm systems.
• Mastery of enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
• Proficiency with National Electrical Code and local codes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission fire alarm and low voltage systems in commercial buildings.
• Mentor and coach team members; provide customer support and guidance.
• Test systems, verify signals, and ensure compliance with codes.
• Document services performed, hours worked, and tasks completed.
• Lead multiple projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery.
