Job summary

Allied-Fire-Protection,-Lp is seeking an Alarm Service Technician to install, service and troubleshoot fire alarm systems in residential, commercial and industrial settings. You will lead tasks, coordinate daily schedules, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance with NFPA codes.

Strong reading of blueprints and strong communication with customers and team are essential. Minimum 3–5 years of experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and forklift/scissor lift certification

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of fire alarm systems
• Understand fire alarm installation requirements
• Ability to read fire alarm blueprints, submittals and manuals
• Minimum education of High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Forklift and scissor lift certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Installation of fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
• Service and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and related equipment
• Lead, oversee, direct, and delegate tasks to meet project deadlines
• Ensure project results stay within budgets
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
• Coordinate daily work schedules and productivity of staff
• Maintain inventory on all vehicles and equipment
• Train helpers, apprentices, and other personnel
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and safety practices
• Communicate effectively with internal/external customers
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Participate in required safety trainings and audits
