Job summary

Allied Fire Protection, LP is seeking an Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will lead and delegate tasks to ensure project deadlines are met, while maintaining compliance with safety standards and paperwork accuracy.

The role requires knowledge of NFPA codes, blueprint reading, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of fire alarm systems and installation requirements.
• Ability to properly read fire alarm blueprints, submittals and operation/product manuals.
• Minimum education of High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Forklift and scissor lift certification, preferred.
• Understanding of NFPA codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Service, troubleshoot, and install related equipment of fire alarm systems.
• Lead, direct, and delegate tasks to fulfill project deadlines.
• Maintain inventory on the vehicle and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Accurately complete and process paperwork required by the office and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and supervise assigned personnel.
