Job summary

RLH Fire Protection, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to install and maintain fire alarm systems for commercial and military applications. The role includes troubleshooting, client liaison, and collaborating with installation teams to ensure systems are fully functional and compliant.

The ideal candidate will have NICET certification, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel; strong knowledge of electrical theory and safety compliance is required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including control panels, devices, and network communications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and programming software tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals for installation.
• Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm and fire suppression release systems.
• Modify fire alarm panel programming for project-specific requirements.
• Install conduit, boxes, and fire alarm equipment including panels and devices.
• Travel to jobsites and work out of town when needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and provide excellent customer service.
