Job summary

RapidFire Safety & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee planning, execution, and completion of fire alarm system installations and upgrades for mid-size commercial projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, IBC and IFC codes, strong project management skills, and a track record of collaborating with clients and internal/external partners to ensure safe, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fire alarm installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, IBC, IFC and AHJ processes.
• Ability to coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage fire alarm installation projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure compliance with fire codes and local requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors, architects and engineers for mid-size commercial projects.
• Review plans and specs to ensure accurate system design and installation.
• Maintain project budgets, schedules and progress reports.
• Communicate updates to clients and address concerns.
• Mentor project team members and promote safety.
