Job summary

Mercury is building the financial stack for ambitious builders. We seek a senior product manager to own high‑stakes surfaces like Tasks, Home, and Notifications, leading a major Dashboard overhaul to keep complexity legible.

You'll partner with design and product teams to shape direction, with independent end‑to‑end ownership across research, design, engineering, GTM, and stakeholders. This role reports across product leaders and aims to ship thoughtful, scalable experiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience on horizontal product or platform teams.
• Deep design taste and sense for how visuals impact functionality.
• Proven ability to turn ambiguity into a clear point of view independently.
• Strong collaboration with designers and stakeholders focused on detail.
• Ability to own complex problems end to end (research, design, engineering, GTM, stakeholder mgmt).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an underdefined, high‑stakes surface and develop a real point of view on what it should be; starting with Tasks, Home, and Notifications
• Lead a redesign of the Mercury home page: what belongs on it, what doesn't, and how it earns its real estate as the product's job for the customer changes
• Design the unified logic behind tasks, lifecycle updates, and in-product alerts
• Partner closely with Command, agents, and product teams that will increasingly lean on these surfaces to drive intent
• Set direction and a prioritized roadmap, balancing user needs against the needs of every product team that depends on Dashboard as connective tissue
• Work as a true collaborator with design, shaping the visual and interaction language of core surfaces
• Operate independently in ambiguity, contributing to the visioning, sequencing, and execution of a multi‑phase overhaul of horizontal Dashboard experiences
• Regularly present strategy and tradeoffs to company leadership
• Translate qualitative and quantitative data into insights that inform the team's work
