Job summary

Mercury is seeking a senior product manager to own and redesign core dashboard surfaces (Tasks, Home, Notifications) for a fintech platform. You will set roadmaps, partner with design and engineering, and translate data into product strategy.

You will lead cross‑functional sessions to define the product’s direction, balancing user needs with multiple product teams, while maintaining a clear, legible experience as the product scales.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience on horizontal/platform teams with strong UX
• Deep design taste and belief that visuals are part of product value
• Track record turning ambiguity into a clear point of view independently
• Fluent collaboration with designers and cross-functional partners
• Ability to own complex problems end-to-end (research, design, eng, GTM, stakeholders) autonomously

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an underdefined, high‑stakes surface and develop a real point of view
• Lead a redesign of the Mercury home page and define what belongs on it
• Design the unified logic for tasks, lifecycle updates, and in‑product alerts
• Partner with Command, agents, and product teams to drive intent
• Set direction and a prioritized roadmap balancing needs of product teams
• Collaborate with design to shape visual and interaction language
• Operate independently in ambiguity over multi‑phase dashboard overhaul
• Regularly present strategy and tradeoffs to leadership
• Translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights
