Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of finish experience in wood manufacturing.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Process Management & Development: Oversee, optimize, consolidate and document finishing processes.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor two Finish Technicians.
• Vendor Management: Primary contact for finish vendor partners.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement: Implement quality control procedures and reduce defects.
• Product & Customer Support: Provide technical consultation to internal teams and customers.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure finishing processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Facilitate finish strategy meetings and document actions.
• Travel for professional development and vendor visits (~5%).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
