Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements.
• Experience auditing healthcare systems and hospitals is preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including familiarity with U.S. GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills; ability to maintain client relationships.
• Ability to travel as needed based on client assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team on planning and execution of an audit, review, or compilation engagement.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusion.
• Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors, promoting open communication.
• Collaborate with engagement team seniors or supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations for any legal, regulatory, or accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets, reviewing for inefficiencies that may arise during the audit.
• Conduct constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and provide counsel accordingly.
• Serve in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
