Your Impact

In this key financial role, you will lead internal reporting processes that inform decisions at the highest levels of Newmont. Your work will directly shape how we present financial and operational performance to our senior leadership, Board of Directors, and enterprise partners.

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  1. Responsible for enterprise monthly financial reporting of key financial and operational performance metrics.
  2. Partner with Integrated Financial Planning on executive-level reporting packages and dashboards for the annual Business Plan and quarterly Forecasts.
  3. Manage and support regional submission of monthly outlook for effective upward reporting of future performance to help inform key decision making.
  4. Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, and Treasury to ensure accurate incorporation of significant transactions in outlook estimates.
  5. Guide ad hoc reporting, financial modeling, and trend analysis for leadership and Finance partners.
  6. Convey key storylines in visually digestible presentations through utilization of various visualization tools.
  7. Provide leadership and mentorship to a direct report and help build enterprise-wide reporting capability.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s/CPA/CFA preferred)
  2. Strong background in financial reporting, FP&A, or corporate finance experience
  3. Strong command of financial statements, variance analysis, and executive storytelling
  4. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and tools like SAP BPC or Power BI
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders
  6. Prior experience supporting Board-level reporting or senior executive leadership

The salary range offered for this role is USD $126,480 - 166,005. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
