Naval Special Warfare Command in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to support budget formulation, justification, execution, and financial operations across organizational programs.

The role entails directing staff in developing complex budget estimates, ensuring compliance with Department of War and Department of the Navy guidance, and overseeing audits and financial data reconciliation. Some travel and mandatory security clearance are anticipated.

Qualifications

• Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and perform comprehensive financial management analysis supporting all phases of budget formulation, justification, execution, and financial operations for organizational programs and activities.
• Direct staff in developing and refining complex budget estimates and financial plans to ensure compliance with DoW and DoN guidance.
• Oversee evaluation of the financial impact of programmatic decisions, monitoring obligations to identify risks or variances, and implementations of innovative solutions to resolve financial challenges.
• Execute and oversee complex financial and program analyses to evaluate costs, benefits, risks, and alternative methods for managing organizational programs and operations.
• Resolve the most complex issues arising from conflicting program and financial data and guide subordinates on other challenging tasks.
• Manage support for internal and external audit activities by directing reconciliation of financial system data, validation of transactions, and providing documentation to certify funds control processes effectiveness.
