Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s Electrophysiology Group in Irvine, CA, is recruiting a Lead Financial Analyst – EP R&D to support Research and Development budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.

This role partners with US Product Development and Scientific Affairs leaders to guide financial decisions, monitor spend, ensure SOX compliance, and drive process improvements aligned with SigniFi initiatives. A minimum of four years in finance is required; relocation not needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• MBA preferred; CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are a plus.
• At least 4 years of experience in finance or related business functions.
• MedTech industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Anaplan or similar financial planning tools preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of developing talent.
• This position is located in Irvine, CA and may require up to 5% domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A for US Product Development and Scientific Affairs, including business planning, forecasting, project spend analysis, headcount planning, and capital planning.

The Lead Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of financial reporting for R&D operations, including detailed analysis of both operational and capital expenditures by project. This role plays a critical part in guiding R&D teams to meet financial commitments through effective budget management, resource allocation, and strategic investment optimization. The Lead Financial Analyst will lead key financial processes such as forecasting, quarterly close, and reporting cycles, while driving process improvements and standardization aligned with SigniFi initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$94,000.00 - $151,800.00

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
