Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company according to Forbes, is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst in Plymouth, MN (Hybrid: 3 days in office). The role partners across Digital, Central Operations and fixed cost reporting to drive performance.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic planning, building financial models, and delivering insights to senior leadership. Requires 5+ years of finance experience and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance or Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to synthesize data, identify trends and recommend actions.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual budgeting process and develop periodic financial forecasts.
• Review actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify trends and variances.
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.

• Translate financial data into actionable recommendations for strategic and operational decisions.

The Lead Financial Analyst will lead the budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, strategic planning, business partnering, and process improvement to support informed decision-making and drive financial performance for Digital, Central Operations, and company-wide fixed cost reporting. Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the annual budgeting process and develop periodic financial forecasts.
• Review actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify trends and variances.
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.

• Investigate significant revenue, expense, margin, and cash-flow variances and communicate key drivers.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance or Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to synthesize complex data, identify trends, evaluate alternatives, and develop recommendations that support informed business decisions.
• Communication & Interpersonal Effectiveness: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, build strong relationships, collaborate across functions, and effectively present financial information to diverse audiences.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$153,300 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayedrepresentsthe pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
