Job summary

Jobtailor in Massachusetts seeks a senior FP&A professional to track orders, backlog, revenue and margin, partnering with P&L and leaders to drive profitability.

You will analyze income statement KPIs, connect GL to the ledger for accurate forecasting, and propose action plans while supporting weekly and monthly reporting. mentoring may be involved with junior staff and project leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required for USA roles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related job families/functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead programs or projects and document plans.
• Established project management skills and ability to work with CFO and senior leaders.
• Authorized to work in the United States; drug screen as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Track Orders, Backlog, Revenue, and Margin with P&L and leaders.

• Use FP&A tools to analyze performance and forecast pacing.
• Propose action plans to improve profitability and cost control.
• Support weekly pacing, closings, and monthly reporting.
• Perform deep-dive data analysis and streamline data processes.

Job description

• Track Orders, Backlog, Revenue, and Margin within Wind in partnership with P&L and functional leaders
• Conduct analyses of key P&L lines and develop understanding of Income Statement KPIs
• Use Data Requests, SAM (Sales and Margin) process, FP&A Masterfiles, and Profit Walks to analyze performance
• Propose action plans to improve profitability and cost control, including corrective action plans
• Support weekly pacing, closings, and monthly financial data reporting
• Perform deep-dive data analysis and organize and streamline data
• Connect GL to the ledger to achieve accurate forecasting and pacing models
• Solve problems and create or improve financial processes
• Monitor development using technical expertise and judgment
• Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and potentially lead small, low-risk projects
• Explain information and help team members reach consensus
• Prioritize information for data analysis and make decisions using internal and limited external sources
• Work with the CFO, WIND FP&A Executive, Finance Managers, and business leaders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college for roles in the USA
• At least 5 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)
• For roles outside the USA, advanced experience in Finance & Income Statement, with knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to analyze and resolve problems
• Ability to lead programs/projects
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
• Established project management skills
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
