Job summary

Surv of Ogden is seeking a hands-on Lead Field Technician to manage a crew delivering high-quality home repair and maintenance services in Ogden, Layton, and surrounding areas. You will perform advanced repairs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain relationships with homeowners across Utah's communities.

You will guide technicians, ensure safety and craftsmanship, and gradually grow the team as the business expands, while maintaining a concierge-level customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as handyman / general maintenance.
• Experience leading small to medium sized teams.
• Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA).
• Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry.
• Must be qualified to perform at heights above thirty (30) feet with the use of a ladder, lift, or bucket truck boom.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• The Face of the Brand: Perform high-quality handyman and residential repair services while providing a "concierge-level" customer experience.
• Complex Problem Solving: Tackle intermediate repairs that require more know-how (e.g., troubleshooting a mystery leak or mounting a heavy TV).
• Quality & Relationship Management: Lead on-job crew to ensure the Surv Standard was met.
• Workflow Optimization: Lead Field Technicians to work efficiently - fastest way to clean windows or move a piano safely.
• Community Growth: Identify how we can further help regulars (e.g., deck wash during screen door repair).
• Growth Transition: As the team grows, shift time from doing to overseeing multiple crews.
