Job summary

Network Connex Company is seeking a Field Lead Technician (L3) to lead installation teams in live data center environments. You will oversee scope, plans, safety talks, and coordination with engineers and vendors to meet milestones while ensuring QA/QC standards.

The role requires expert fiber optic installation and testing skills, OTDR/OLTS certification, and a strong track record in complex troubleshooting. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of documented industry experience in data center or field service environments.
• Fiber optic testing experience at scale, including complex troubleshooting.
• Fiber optic testing certification on OTDR and OLTS.
• Experience leading installation teams in live data center environments.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead field teams executing installation services per agreements, ensuring safety and quality.
• Oversee scope, work plans, and field execution with minimal direction.
• Lead toolbox talks and on-site safety discussions.
• Attend project and customer meetings as required.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and internal teams to meet milestones.
• Respond to on-site service requests and travel as needed.
• Maintain documentation and service reports.
