ESP Associates, Inc. seeks a Survey Crew Chief to lead field surveys in the Huntersville, NC area. The role involves managing boundary, topographic, construction layout, ALTA/NSPS, and existing conditions surveys using traditional, robotic, and GPS tools.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in land surveying, a related Associate’s degree, and comfort supervising crews. Travel with lodging and per diem is expected, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in land surveying.
• Associate’s degree in surveying/geomatics or related field preferred.
• SIT or PLS preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, navigational programs, CADD programs and Trimble Business Center preferred.
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers and robotic total stations considered a plus.
• DOT and route survey experience considered a plus.
• Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record per company policy.

Responsabilités

• Lead field crews on a variety of land surveying projects using conventional, robotic, and GPS equipment.
• Coordinate field operations and supervise survey crews effectively.
• Maintain accuracy in field measurements, data collection, and documentation.
• Travel out of town for project assignments with lodging and per diem provided.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding fieldwork.
