Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey Crew Chief in Massachusetts to lead field survey crews on boundary, topographic, construction, and related projects. You will plan field surveys, ensure data quality, and serve as the primary field representative for teams and clients.

You will mentor junior staff, work with GNSS/GPS, robotic total stations, data collectors, and 3D scanners to deliver accurate field data while maintaining safety and project schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field survey experience, 2+ years as Crew Chief.
• Proficient with data collectors, robotic instruments, total stations and leveling.
• Experience with or ability to learn 3D scanners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform advanced field surveys within project scope and budget.
• Interact with project site supervisors and client field representatives.
• Prepare detailed field notes and reports in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train junior field staff to support career growth.
• Maintain, transport, and operate surveying instruments and equipment.
