Qualifications

• Experience leading survey crews.
• Proficiency with total stations, GNSS receivers, data collectors, and tablets; Trimble equipment is a plus.
• Strong technical and computer skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Clear communication with field crews, office teams, and clients.
• A dependable work history with strong work ethic and collaborative approach.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to walk long distances and lift up to 80 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with clean background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field crew activities, organizing work to stay productive and on schedule.
• Plan efficient survey data collection from primary control through construction layout and as-built surveys.
• Read and interpret construction plans, survey specifications, and tolerances.
• Operate surveying equipment and collect, review, and document field data.
• Maintain clear field notes, sketches, and records for office processing.
• Communicate progress and field conditions daily with project managers and engineers.
• Build positive relationships with clients and project partners.
• Identify challenges and coordinate with leadership for additional support.
• Complete daily reports and timesheets.
• Care for survey equipment and company vehicles; promote safety.
• Follow company safety procedures and promote safe work practices.
