Job summary

McShane Construction Company seeks a Project Superintendent to lead on-site management of complex building programs. You’ll supervise trades, enforce safety, keep the project on schedule and within budget, and coordinate with clients, engineers, and inspectors.

Qualifications

7+ years of construction management experience.
Effective client and partner communication.
Proficient with Salus, PlanGrid and MS Office.
Experience scheduling with MS Project or Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

Supervise on-site construction activities while ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.
Prepare and maintain a 4-6 week look ahead schedule.
Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment.
Monitor progress and produce daily reports on site conditions.
Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections.
Communicate with project stakeholders to align goals.
Manage on-site personnel and assign tasks.
Review drawings and project docs to guide activities.
Ensure work meets codes and quality standards.
Facilitate project meetings and progress reviews.
Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
Apply knowledge of construction processes and codes.
