Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial projects in Houston. You will oversee both self-performed and contracted work, enforce safety and quality, and ensure alignment with contract documents and project schedules.

The role requires 7+ years on large-scale projects, experience with high-rise/residential or education builds, and proven ability to mentor teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Experience delivering high-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education projects.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Deep knowledge of scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
• OSHA and safety regulations proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of contracted work across full project or scope.
• Implement safety and quality culture among Clark employees and trade contractors with inspections.
• Plan sequencing, site logistics, and material/personnel tracking.
• Maintain project schedule and communicate milestones to stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high-functioning team.
• Manage owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements; KPI awareness.
• Support close-out activities including punch lists and building operations training.
