Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Field Service Technician III to perform reactor services at remote plants and service centers, leading daily activities and coordinating teams from our Chattanooga, TN facility. You will use high-tech equipment and maintain the highest quality standards.

You will report to the Manager of BWR Resources and travel up to 70% while developing and documenting procedures, supporting engineering, and delivering training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent required.
• 6+ years of applicable experience.
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the year.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Unescorted Access clearance at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot reactor services field service equipment at customer sites.
• Serve as technical advisor as required.
• Perform Service Center support functions including equipment maintenance, decontamination, packing, shipments, and calibration.
• Write and/or revise operational and maintenance procedures.
• Provide support to product engineering and training with equipment modifications and testing.
• Document equipment performance issues and ensure corrective actions prior to next use.
• Participate in training programs and conduct training classes.
• Lead activities to ensure high-quality outputs within procedures.
• Demonstrate team-oriented mindset in supervising projects.
