Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician II to serve clients in the Ohio market. The role expands the Level I duties with advanced installation, configuration, and customer training to ensure installations meet high standards of quality and reliability.

You will lead teams, coordinate with project staff, perform FAT testing, and support systems such as nurse call, access control, and video surveillance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years with a previous construction trade.
• Advance knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP, etc).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience.
• Previous experience completing projects within scope and service ticketing processes.
• Must have valid US Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute all Level I installer roles and responsibilities per documentation.
• Manage project/service tickets with timely updates.
• Own assigned tasks and deliver quality results within scope.
• Mentor Level 1 installers when leading a team.
• Communicate with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems.
