Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a Field Service Technician IV to perform the most complex installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and modifications of industrial burners at customer sites. The role requires commissioning, tuning, and testing while maintaining professional site records.

Qualified candidates will have 8+ years of commissioning experience with industrial burners, knowledge of PLC and FIREYE Burner Management Systems, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year of additional training/certification preferred.
• 8+ years of commissioning experience with industrial burners (20–350 mm BTU/hr) is required.
• Working knowledge of PLC and FIREYE Burner Management Systems.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, tune, repair and troubleshoot burners at job sites.
• Lead and supervise workload with customers or subcontractors as needed.
• Perform complex installations, repairs, testing and modifications of equipment at job sites.
• Prepare and submit project status reports, site reports and combustion datasheets.
• Travel up to 75% domestically and internationally; may require passport.
