Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) seeks a skilled field operations leader to support the 48th Chem BDE NBCRVs at Ft Stewart, GA. You will supervise remote CVMs, plan CLS tasks, maintain equipment, and ensure ISO/EHS compliance.

Reporting to the site Field Representative, you will mentor up to 9 staff across locations, manage calibration and repairs, and drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma principles while coordinating with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree from an accredited school in a related business or technical discipline required.
• Must be certified Stryker FSR or successfully complete Stryker FSR Academy.
• Six (6) to 9 years of related work experience. (Equivalent military service acceptable).
• Experience directly related to position such as leading/supervising personnel in a maintenance environment, strong hands-on experience in fielding operations required.
• Military school trained wheel vehicle mechanic preferred; documented training acceptable. Field experience preferred.
• Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a workforce of up to 9 remote CVMs in 8 locations, schedule manpower and priorities.
• Engage with customers and management to ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Plan and supervise CLS operations as directed by USG schedule.
• Maintain 100% accountability of equipment and required LTDD documentation.
• Maintain calibration and ensure mission readiness of equipment.
• Manage assets to ensure steady material flow and supply.
• Oversee repair and supply activities and perform maintenance steps per documentation.
• Complete forms and paperwork related to performance of duties.
