Honeywell International, Inc. in Syracuse, NY seeks a Lead Field Service Fire Technician to lead service, troubleshooting, maintenance, inspections, commissioning, and support for fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and education sites in the Syracuse region.

You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate field execution, and ensure system reliability and code compliance while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years fire alarm field service experience.
• 3+ years commercial/industrial systems experience.
• Valid driver''s license is required.
• 3+ years customer-facing experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and OSHA.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Lead Field Service Fire Technician , you will be responsible for leading service, troubleshooting, maintenance, inspections, commissioning, and technical support activities for fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and mission-critical customer sites throughout the Syracuse, NY region. You will serve as the technical leader for complex service activities, mentor junior technicians, coordinate field execution, and work directly with customers to ensure system reliability, code compliance, and operational excellence while delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will lead inspections, repairs, commissioning, upgrades, and acceptance testing of fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Honeywell standards, NFPA codes, local AHJ requirements, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead service, maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair activities

YOU MUST HAVE

The annual base salary range for this position is $69,700 - $87,350 mid. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
