Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 6+ years of resident engineering experience on transportation projects.
• IDOT, Tollway, and/or Local Agency experience a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the construction inspection team.
• Plan, prepare, and analyze construction documents.
• Manage construction contracts using CMMS software.
• Review contractor schedules, traffic control plans, and submittals for contract compliance.
• Ensure safety of personnel and the traveling public.
• Attend progress meetings and prepare project status reports.
