Job summary

Kiewit (Canada) is hiring a Field Engineer to act as the primary on-site engineer and lead field operations. You will report to the Project Manager and guide health and safety, quality reporting, and ethical engineering practices on a Northeast heavy civil project.

Responsibilities include contract administration, project planning, scheduling, and reporting, with travel and potential relocation as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' construction field experience.
• Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and serve as job-site leader on health and safety.
• Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and measurements.
• Prepare work plans and packages; assist surveying and layout support.
• Assist in project reporting, daily logs, RFIs, and cost data reviews.
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedule work groups on site.
