Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform the most complex field inspections for residential and commercial projects.
• Review plans, approve documents, and issue permits; respond to emergencies or complaints.
• Investigate potential code violations and maintain inspection history data.
• Meet with architects, engineers, contractors, and planners during project design and construction.
• Prepare inspection reports and analyze data to support compliance.
• Provide code-compliance guidance to professionals, homeowners, and the public.
• Attend committees and task forces as needed; support customer service goals.
• Assist in front-office duties and related activities as required.
