Job summary

ARAMCO in Houston, TX seeks a Chemicals & Special Products Staff to manage Fertilizer Trading activity, formulating strategies and executing physical and paper trades to meet commercial objectives within risk limits.

You will coordinate with Global Head, engage with Middle Office, and liaise with Finance, Operations, and Compliance to ensure accurate P&L reporting and regulatory adherence. Bachelor’s degree required; knowledge of ammonium sulfate and urea preferred.

Responsibilities

• Agree scope of Trading Activity to be managed with Global Head of [Relevant Product] along with relevant commercial objectives and risk thresholds.
• Formulate trading strategy and execute physical and paper trades to achieve commercial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations governing trading activities.
• Monitor and adapt trade execution in timely fashion considering latest market trends and competitor behavior.
• Engage with Middle Office to enable accurate recording of trades and ensure accurate P&L and Exposure reporting.
• Regularly communicate with global team members to discuss trading strategies and coordinate trade execution.
• Provide updates to the Book Leader and other relevant stakeholders on trade performance and risk management activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, Operations, and Compliance to ensure alignment and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Engage in negotiations with counterparties and clients to finalize trade agreements and contracts.
• Communicate with external vendors and service providers to facilitate trade execution and resolve any operational issues.
• When necessary, interact with regulatory bodies and industry organizations to stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices.
