Job summary

Christensen Farms in Nebraska is seeking a Feed Mill Plant Manager to oversee a single feed mill location, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality production. You will lead the team, manage grinding, batching, pelleting, and load-out processes while directing budgets and continuous improvement efforts.

Collaborate with maintenance, procurement, and QA teams to uphold equipment standards and safety, develop staff, and optimize overall production performance.

Qualifications

• BS from four-year college in Agriculture, Science, or Business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–10 years of prior management or feed delivery operations experience preferred.
• Must be able to review motor vehicle records (MVR) for insurability as part of employment.
• UDR: CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grinding, batching, pelleting, bin management and load out to ensure quality.
• Lead staff and drive recruitment, development, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Manage budgets and support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to uphold equipment standards and maintenance programs.
• Ensure safety protocols, plant cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
