Thea Energy seeks highly motivated Finite Element Analysts to join our rapidly growing team. You will perform complex multi-domain analyses to design, optimize, and verify the thermal, structural, and magnetic requirements of our stellarator systems.

With 4+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, applied mechanics, materials, and simulation, you will deliver data-driven results, justify critical design decisions, and collaborate with engineering leadership to drive

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Finite Element Analysis experience in industry or academia
• Ability to define advanced material/weld modeling parameters
• Proven experience developing/optimizing complex FE models and simulations
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and ensuring model accuracy

Responsibilities

• Owns complex multi-domain and non-linear analyses and justifies design decisions
• Develop and analyze complex FE models with non-linear contacts, plasticity, and large deformations
• Perform multi-domain simulations (thermal, mechanical, vibration, magnetic loads)
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to drive improvements and maintainability
