Thea Energy Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Finite Element Analyst to design, analyze, and verify thermal, structural, and magnetic requirements for cutting-edge stellarator systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FE analysis experience using commercial software.
• Strong problem solving and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Experience developing first-of-its-kind components or systems.
• Ability to mentor junior analysts (Eng I/II) for model accuracy.
• Optimize structural designs for weight, performance, and maintainability.
• Familiarity with cryogenic material behavior and welds.

Responsibilities

• Owns complex multi-domain and nonlinear analyses; defines material/weld modeling parameters and justifies design decisions.
• Develops and analyzes complex FE models with advanced contact, plasticity, and large deformations.
• Performs multi-domain simulations including thermal, mechanical, vibration, and magnetic loads.
