Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team as Lead Provider in Westbrook, Maine. This role combines hands-on patient care with clinical leadership responsibilities.

You will mentor and support providers and staff, promote clinical excellence, and help shape a culture of teamwork and continuous professional development in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current Family NP or PA certification and state licensure.
• Strong urgent care/family medicine emergency medicine experience.
• Leadership, mentorship or precepting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the urgent care spectrum.
• Provide evidence-based treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, and common medical conditions.
• Serve as the clinical leader for all clinical staff and ensure high-quality care.
• Mentor, coach, and support new-graduate FNPs and PAs to promote professional growth.
• Provide clinical guidance and serve as a resource for colleagues and allied healthcare professionals.
• Promote consistent clinical standards, patient safety, and quality improvement.
• Support onboarding, education, and ongoing professional development for staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and medical assistants to optimize care delivery.
