Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a similar environment such as food service or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of Facility Cleaners to ensure all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules to meet operational needs and maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Train new porters on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless workflow and address any cleaning-related issues promptly.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
• Enforce safety regulations and practices to minimize accidents and injuries in the workplace.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the porter team members.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement and improve sanitation policies and procedures.
